Governors of the All Progressives
Congress (APC) have comminucated in writing their complaints to President Muhammadu Buhari on the list of 46 non-career ambassadorial nominees recently forwarded to the Senate for approval.
The governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom disclosed this to State House correspondents yesterday shortly after meeting behind closed-doors with President Buhari.
The APC governors had presented their grievances to the president at a meeting last Monday during which he asked them to put their complaints in writing.
Ortom hinted yesterday that they had written to the president on the issue. The governor also confirmed that President Buhari was currently attending to their grievances.
He said “it is the prerogative of Mr. President to do appointments, but where there is need, we always give support. We have written where we have reservations, and it is being attended to.”
